Evelyn: Knock knock.
Me: Who’s there?
Evelyn: Dream.
Me: Dream who?
Evelyn: I had a dream about a Grouch with 8 legs.
(sigh)
I think a sense of humor and comic timing take a long time to develop properly. Til then, I’m stuck with nonsensical knock-knock joke tellers.
