Our little writer

Evelyn shows increasing interest in learning how to read and write. She regularly asks to read stories to us. Much of it is memorization and description of what she sees. But she is also reading some words.
We had Joker Quick Cube out one morning this week, and we played word games together, spelling 3- and 4-letter words. Just goes to show that playing with letter cubes is a lot more fun that using a pencil and paper. No eraser needed.
