Charlotte was resisting a nap this afternoon, so I reassured her that everyone was taking a nap. “Evelyn is having quiet time, you are having quiet time, and Mom is going to lie down and have quiet time,” I said.
“He’s at work. But everyone else is in their rooms resting.”
“Mommy? Are you going to press the buttons on your computer before you go to your bed to rest?”
Evelyn’s homework this evening was to write the alphabet in uppercase letters, A-Z. She completed it and showed it to me. I encouraged her and told her how well she’s doing, etc. etc. “Well, I had a sort of hard time remembering the uppercase letters because I’ve been complicating on the lowercase letters.”
