Evelyn is telling me about several conflicts among her classmates at school.

Me: “I bet you’re looking forward to summer break.”

Evelyn: “Yes, I’m tired of all the skit-scats.”

Me, laughing: “What?! What’s a skit-scat? Did you make that word up?”

Evelyn: “Yeah. Well, scat means animal poop, and skit sounds like spit.”
