Naming

We’ve just said goodbye to our friends who were over for dinner, including one my dearest friends, named Denice; I’m reading This is the Way We Eat Our Lunch by Edith Baer to Calvin at bedtime.

One page reads, “Denise and Desiree share a light-as-air souffle” (in Quebec).

Cal interrupts, “HEY! We have a KIND of Denice, too!”
