Twice the Sweetness

For Thanksgiving dinner at my mom and dad’s house tomorrow, the girls each made a pie. Evelyn made Jackson pie and Charlotte made pumpkin pie.

Because of a miscommunication, the intended pre-made pie crusts were not purchased at the grocery store, and rather than return, I decided today was as good a day as any for my 10 year old and nearly 8 year old to make their first pie crusts from scratch. I’m happy to say, it was an unqualified success.
